FAQS
What is the minimum length of charter and how are the rates calculated?
The rental rates for the yacht are provided on a weekly basis. Typically, a minimum charter period of seven days is required, but charters can be arranged for any duration longer than seven days. If the charter exceeds seven days, the rate is calculated proportionally by dividing the weekly rate by seven and multiplying it by the number of charter days. In certain cases, particularly during low season and for smaller yachts, charters of fewer than seven days may be considered. In such instances, the weekly rate is divided by six and multiplied by the number of days. Charters begin at noon on the first day and end at noon on the final day.
What are the payment terms for a charter?
Upon signing the Charter Agreement, a deposit amounting to 50% of the total charter fee must be paid via bank transfer to secure your booking. This deposit serves as confirmation of your reservation. The remaining 50% of the charter fee, along with an Advance Provisioning Allowance, any applicable taxes, delivery/redelivery fees, and other agreed-upon charges, must be settled via bank transfer one month prior to the start of the charter.
Do you accept children on board?
Yes.
Do you allow pets?
No.
Can I smoke on board the yacht?
Smoking is not permitted inside the yacht.
How much should I tip the crew?
While crew gratuities are not mandatory, it is customary for charterers to show appreciation for exceptional service from a diligent and accommodating crew by offering a gratuity. Typically, crew gratuities amount to approximately 10% of the charter fee, but the exact percentage can be adjusted higher or lower based on your level of satisfaction.
What is included within the charter rate?
The charter fee covers the yacht, water, maps, and a tender. The guest is responsible for all provisions and fuel for any water toys.
Can I specify the food and wine to be served aboard the yacht?
Prior to your yacht boarding, we will kindly request that you fill out a comprehensive questionnaire outlining the preferences and specific needs of every member in your group. This questionnaire covers important details such as dietary restrictions, medical requirements, allergies, as well as any specific requests related to sports or entertainment. By providing this information, both our team and the crew of your selected yacht will be able to take every possible measure to ensure that your charter experience is truly exceptional.
Am I covered by insurance?
We highly advise charterers to obtain Cancellation Insurance as a means of safeguarding their investment in case unexpected events arise that prevent or shorten their charter. Furthermore, it is important for all members of the charter party to have Personal Accident and Medical Insurance coverage, while also ensuring their personal belongings are protected against theft, loss, or damage. Taking these insurance measures provides additional security and peace of mind for everyone involved.
Am I permitted to use the yacht's watersports toys and SCUBA equipment?
Some countries have specific regulations that necessitate a Certificate of Competency to engage in watersports activities involving motorized watercraft such as jet skis, waverunners, and similar equipment. Therefore, we kindly request that you carefully consider which individuals in your group may be interested in utilizing the yacht’s motorized water toys.
